Former Pennsylvania auditor general Eugene DePasquale has entered the race for attorney general in 2024.
In an announcement posted on his website, DePasquale, a Democrat, said he is running “to take my experience as a protector and watchdog to go after the criminals and extremists who are attacking Pennsylvanians’ freedoms.”
DePasquale said his top priority will be “protecting the people of Pennsylvania — including defending reproductive rights, making all communities safer, and safeguarding taxpayer and consumer dollars.”
