Eugene DePasquale wins 5-way Democratic primary for Pa. Attorney General | WFMZ

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The Associated Press projects Eugene DePasquale as the winner of the Democratic primary in the race for Pennsylvania Attorney General.

The returns show DePasquale, who served as Pennsylvania Auditor General from 2013 to 2021, with nearly 40% of the vote. None of the four other candidates — Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer, former Bucks County solicitor Joe Khan, former Philadelphia chief public defender Keir Bradford-Grey and state Rep. Jared Solomon — garnered more than 20% of the electorate.

The primary was characterized by a general consensus on using the Attorney General position to protect abortion rights, support efforts to legalize recreational marijuana and push for strong consumer protections.
